Minister of Security in Controversial Espionage Case

The Minister of Security of the City of Buenos Aires, Waldo Wolff, has filed a complaint for "violation of secrets in the context of espionage tasks" against the legislator of La Libertad Avanza (LLA), Pilar Ramírez. Wolff expressed that the revelation of secret data allegedly made by Ramírez endangered his safety and that of his family.

In response, Ramírez pointed out that Wolff "is not suited for the position" and accused him of wasting resources, while the minister from PRO requested that the legislator testify in this case. Wolff emphasized the information related to the number of bodyguards assigned to his security, detailing that it is not public and that it was allegedly revealed by Ramírez.

The legislator, who leads the libertarian bloc in the Buenos Aires Legislature and is close to Karina Milei, requested to be part of the prosecution in the investigation. In her statements, Ramírez criticized the lack of concrete solutions from Wolff and accused him of not addressing the issue of prisoner escapes in the City of Buenos Aires.

Amid this controversy, Wolff and Ramírez maintain opposing positions, with mutual accusations that include the endangerment of the minister's personal and family safety by the legislator, and the perception of a lack of response to urgent problems by the official.
