Néstor Grindetti Resigns as Chief of Cabinet

Néstor Grindetti, advisor to the city government, announced today his resignation from the position "for personal reasons" after a year in office. He indicated that his political work will focus on the province of Buenos Aires from now on.

Grindetti's resignation, former mayor of Lanús and current president of the Independiente club in Avellaneda, comes just before the electoral campaign for this year's legislative elections. During the 2023 electoral campaign, he was close to Patricia Bullrich and is considered a supporter of an alliance with La Libertad Avanza.

In his statements, Grindetti expressed: "Just over a year ago, Jorge Macri called me to head the Chief of Government's office, and it has been a great honor to work on each of the transformations we promoted to improve people's lives." He thanked the head of government and his entire team for the trust and support given during his management.

The now former Chief of Government expressed his interest in ensuring that the remaining years of the term are successful for the well-being of all residents of the city. He also highlighted that he will continue his work in the province of Buenos Aires, aiming to offer a necessary alternative for the people of Buenos Aires.
