Massive Protest Against Javier Milei in Buenos Aires

A march against the government of Javier Milei brought together numerous people in the City of Buenos Aires and in various parts of the country, gathering opposition political groups and self-convened attendees. The concentration began at the Congress of the Nation and culminated at the Plaza de Mayo.

Amidst the crowd, various voices were heard expressing their discontent and rejection towards Milei's speech, which they labeled as violent and exclusionary. Some protesters highlighted the importance of making visible the vulnerable individuals and denouncing the association that the political leader made between same-sex couples and pedophilia.

Among the participants was Maxi, a 28-year-old young man, who emphasized the violence present in Milei's words. Meanwhile, the slogan "Against fascism we use the fan" united the protesters, who echoed their demands for a more inclusive and respectful society.

In a warm atmosphere, the mobilization transformed into a sea of fans with the colors of diversity, waving in protest against the government and discriminatory positions. A 78-year-old retiree named Susana shared her reason for attending the march, highlighting the importance of fighting for a country where people are free and without conditions.

The street became a stage for criticism towards those right-wing leaders who, according to the protesters, do not represent the values of equality and respect. Signs and slogans like "Where is Tehuel?", in reference to a missing transgender young man, highlighted the urgency of making marginalized sectors visible and demanding justice.

During a parade along Avenida de Mayo, the collective voice resonated powerfully, rejecting Milei's statements and raising the flag of diversity. A sign showing ecclesiastical figures regarding child abuse by the Church served as a reminder of the constant struggle for truth and justice in a more inclusive and respectful society.
