Former presidential candidate Sergio Massa expressed his support for the Federal March that took place last Saturday, describing it as a manifestation in defense of true freedom. Massa joined the criticism of the speech delivered by President Javier Milei at the Davos Forum.
"Today we live an immense march in defense of freedom, of true freedom, that which is only achieved when diversity is accepted and dialogue is encouraged," Massa noted on social media. Despite his defeat in the elections against Milei in November 2023, the leader of the Renovation Front decided to position himself subtly against the current president.
The march, called by the LGTBIQ+ collective but which also included participation from opposition sectors to the government, took place from the Congress to Plaza de Mayo in the city. During the demonstration, participants expressed their rejection of Milei's statements, who had previously shown opposition to the rights of the collective.
In this context, Massa highlighted his explicit support for the march, emphasizing the importance of defending diversity and promoting dialogue as fundamental pillars of true freedom.
