Bullrichismo Breaks with PRO in Buenos Aires

Bullrichism has broken with PRO in the City of Buenos Aires, consolidating its alliance with La Libertad Avanza and the structure of Karina Milei. This movement has been in progress since Mayor Diego Valenzuela opened the door to change by joining La Libertad Avanza. Now, the three legislators who respond to Security Minister Patricia Bullrich will be part of the La Libertad Avanza caucus.

The officialization of this move comes just before a meeting in which former President Mauricio Macri will lead at the yellow bunker to discuss alliances for the 2025 elections. This decision had already been anticipated in the Buenos Aires Legislature when legislators aligned with Bullrich voted against Jorge Macri's 2025 budget last year. 'La Libertad Avanza, whether some want it or not,' they stated.

In the Buenos Aires Legislature, led by Matías Morales of PRO, the official notification was expected at any moment. The migration of the legislators to the ranks of the purple bloc occurs amidst internal agitation within the party. The welcome to the new members of La Libertad Avanza received expressions of support on social media, celebrating this step toward freedom and change in the City of Buenos Aires.
