Buenos Aires, March 13 (NA) - An influencer who sells cell phones was shot after being the victim of an attempted robbery in the Barracas neighborhood while delivering one of the electronic devices. Aboard his motorcycle, he waited for the supposed client to arrive at the meeting point, but a previous situation caught his attention. In the plaza, there was a young man who was watching him closely, so the influencer asked him if he was the person he was waiting for. The victim posted several videos on his social networks showing the moment he was shot and how he asked for help while fleeing on his motorcycle. The incident occurred on March 2 in Díaz Vélez Plaza, Barracas, but it came to light in recent hours when Gabriel García, 32, posted about five videos on his TikTok and Instagram accounts showing the complete sequence of the attempted robbery, as confirmed to the Argentine News Agency. The images show that García parks his motorcycle at the corner of Santo Domingo and Santa Elena streets. Personnel from the 4D Neighborhood Police Station of the City Police approached the scene and notified SAME, which transferred the injured person to the Penna Hospital, with no risk to his life. The case was fully recorded by the glasses the victim was wearing, so the videos are of utmost importance to identify the suspects. The investigation was left in the hands of the Criminal and Correctional Prosecution Office No. 23, which, before the Single Secretariat, carried out proceedings for armed robbery and injuries. 'The investigation is already advanced and we are working to be able to arrest all those involved,' they reported. For several minutes, the buyer inspected the iPhone box, but in the middle of the transaction, the young man who had been in the plaza crossed over, took out a weapon and tried to rob him. Immediately, García escaped the situation to avoid the robbery, but it was at that moment that the criminal shot him and the bullet entered his right leg. During his escape, he began to scream and ask for help until neighbors stopped and assisted him. Despite the negative response, the subject became nervous and walked away. Instantly, the supposed client appeared, who began to dialogue with García.
