Cameraman Adrián Pomito was the victim of a robbery while he was in the Palermo neighborhood. The complete sequence was recorded by the television camera of the media outlet he works for. The incident took place at the intersection of Humboldt and Cabrera streets.
Pomito reported that he did not see the robbery coming, as he was facing away at that moment. According to his testimony, the criminals approached on a motorcycle, one of them got off to snatch the phone from him, while the other remained in the vehicle ready to flee. The cameraman reacted immediately and ran a few meters behind the thieves.
The robbery was captured by the camera that was turned on, as they were preparing for a live broadcast. The images show how the criminal snatches the cellphone from Pomito, gets on the green and black motorcycle with his accomplice, and quickly escapes from the scene.
