Luciano Castro Opens Up About Separation and Treatment

Actor Luciano Castro opened up about his separation from Griselda Siciliani and his over 10-day hospitalization in a phone call with Moria Casán. According to the Argentine News Agency, the conversation was very emotional when the actor decided to publicly thank her for the support she provided during his treatment. As the interview was about to end, Castro asked for a few seconds to say something he didn't want to miss: "I want to take this opportunity to thank you, Moria, because you were the only one who called me every day while I was hospitalized to see how I was." This recognition surprised the host, who did not expect such a mention. Castro admitted that the separation from Griselda Siciliani, with whom he had been in a relationship, had a profound emotional impact on him. "It hurt and anguished me a lot," he said. Currently, Castro confirmed that his priority is to continue his recovery process. "Healing is what I want for myself," he emphasized. Castro also highlighted another gesture the diva made during that period. As he recounted, Moria always knew how he was and what situation he was in, but she never made it public. "How could I not keep it to myself? You have to accept treatment and start healing for real," he stated. During the conversation, Castro also spoke candidly about the moment he decided to ask for help and begin treatment, explaining that he was going through a very complex situation and reached a breaking point that led him to be hospitalized. "The first thing you have to do is surrender. Many of us dare to ask for it, but other times shame or fear prevent us from doing so," he noted. In this sense, he realized he needed to change his situation: "I realized there was an end and that I was losing a lot." Castro also emphasized that the support of close people was key to finding a place to start his recovery and reflected on the personal process that such a treatment entails. "You have to work on the inside, not for the outside," Moria responded, visibly moved. "There are many people who need help. He had promised to speak on my show when he felt ready, but I didn't ask him for anything," she added.
