Buenos Aires, March 3 (NA) – The National Administration of Medicines, Food and Medical Technology (ANMAT) has prohibited the use, commercialization, distribution, and sale on electronic platforms of various products from the firm Ciencia Cosmética.
Through Resolution No. 886/2026, the following articles have been prohibited:

According to information from the Argentine News Agency, the measure was taken after it was detected that these products lack sanitary registration. They were being sold through electronic channels across the country, and some straightening treatments may contain formaldehyde, whose exposure poses health risks.
In this way, ANMAT ordered the prohibition and communication to all jurisdictional health authorities to ensure that these commercialized products comply with safety, quality, and efficacy requirements.
