Free Talk on the Rights of People with Neurodiversity in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires, February 24 (NA) -- Although the term 'Disability' is often linked to the search for personal independence, there are people who require constant assistance. In this context, a free talk will be held about the rights of those who are today within the spectrum of neurodiversity. According to the official communiqué accessed by the Argentine News Agency, the event will be held under the title 'What will happen when mom and dad are no longer here?' and will take place this Wednesday, February 25, starting at 7:30 PM. Organized by the FLEDNI Foundation, it will focus on the axes of 'Guardianship, anticipation, and long-term rights,' as well as the support for 'the continuity of rights, health, and patrimonial protection.' 'In this talk, key legal and health tools for long-term planning, as well as support systems, social works, benefits, nomenclators, and patrimonial safeguarding will be addressed,' the document states. From the foundation, they assured that the proposal is aimed 'at families and professionals who accompany, seek to anticipate and make informed decisions, and avoid situations of lack of protection or discontinuity in care.' The moderation will be in charge of psychologist and public policies specialist Gabriel Ainciart, and lawyer Juan Cruz San Martín, a disability expert, will give the lecture. Those who wish to attend can do so through the Espacio San Martín channel on YouTube.
