Buenos Aires, Feb 3 (NA) -- Lawyer Fernando Burlando, on behalf of Matías Luna, brother of Silvina Luna, requested the expansion of the autopsy performed on the model's body to clarify various health points that could have been considered during her life, while the former surgeon, Anibal Lotocki, remains detained and charged with simple homicide.
According to the judicial notification accessed by the Argentine News Agency, the prosecution requested that "the autopsy performed on September 15, 2025 be expanded so that the medical board can issue an opinion on four aspects of fundamental relevance to the case."
Initially, it refers to "the time of the appearance of granulomas on Luna's body" and "what treatment could have been administered to prevent the development of hypercalcemia that led to progressive renal insufficiency."
The next point raises the question of "at what point said treatment would have been opportune" and puts "the post-operative controls carried out by Aníbal Lotocki" on the table, inquiring if they were "the appropriate ones according to the type of intervention he performed."
Finally, it is questioned whether the accused "was in a condition - according to his experience and knowledge of the case - to intervene in some way to prevent the development of the granulomas from causing the patient the consequences she had for her health."
The document, stamped by the National Judicial Power as part of the file of the National Criminal and Correctional Court No. 60, was dated this Tuesday, February 3, and signed by Romina Ayelén Guerra, court secretary, and Santiago Carlos Bignone, substitute judge.
