He was immediately assisted and transferred to a healthcare center where he remains hospitalized. The tense moment occurred on Thursday morning at the club's facility in southern Argentina. According to medical sources from the organization, the 27-year-old player collapsed during practice. According to reports from local media accessed by the Argentine News Agency, the coaching staff and medical team acted quickly and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers, as they had all the necessary equipment for the emergency, which was key to stabilizing him. Shortly after, Nievas was urgently transferred to Andrés Isola Hospital, where he remains in the intensive care unit. The team doctor, Gustavo Acuña, informed that the initial tests did not show any abnormalities, although the player's health condition remains guarded and he continues under strict medical observation. The goalkeeper is from Córdoba, he arrived at Deportivo Madryn in 2019 and was a key piece of the team that achieved promotion to the Primera Nacional in 2021.
