An unlicensed aesthetician in Buenos Aires, who was convicted of practicing medicine illegally, was arrested while continuing to see patients from his house arrest in the Villa Crespo neighborhood. According to police sources, officers acted on a complaint of alleged malpractice, leading to a raid at the suspect's home on Batalla del Pari 600. During the search, hundreds of syringes, hypodermic needles, medications, supplies, and machinery were seized, confirming the continuation of his illegal practice. Sentenced in 2024 to one year of house arrest, the man had been illegally practicing medicine for over twelve years, promoting his aesthetic and regenerative medicine services in the Belgrano area. Authorities also confiscated documentation, 250 syringes, 150 hypodermic and pericranial needles, 110 expired vials and ampoules of medication, anesthetics, steroids, hormones, vitamins, and preparations without sanitary identification. Additionally, officers seized ten boxes and vials with injectable medications and solutions. They also confiscated six medical and aesthetic devices, macro-drip sets, three-way stopcocks, dressings, gauze, catheters, bandages, pathological waste disposers, and biosafety materials.
