Buenos Aires, December 18 (NA) - to protect its members, the National Social Security Administration (ANSES) issued a statement via social media to alert the public about potential scams. While specific information about its official contact channels is periodically updated, as learned by the Argentine News Agency, the national public body again stressed the issue due to 'recent scam attempts,' according to its official communication. ANSES never asks its members for: keys, PINs, or passwords. In a concise text, ANSES reports on new and failed attempts to steal information from retirees and pensioners by stating: 'Following recent scam attempts where unscrupulous individuals pose as ANSES personnel, requesting registration to obtain additional benefits during the holidays, we remind you that any publication circulating outside of www.anses.gob.ar that directs you to forms, emails, or text messages must be immediately disregarded.' ANSES reminds that the organization never, under any circumstances, requests from its members: keys, PINs, passwords, and also: does not request payments via WhatsApp or social networks, never offers prizes, and never contacts from personal accounts. At the same time, they invite to file the corresponding complaint, stating: 'We recommend reporting these cases to the Directorate of Criminal Affairs, Integrity, and Proceedings, from where the necessary actions will be carried out.' What are the official channels of ANSES for filing a complaint? The official and enabled channels of the pension body through which the relevant complaints must be made are: Web (Enter my ANSES and go to Complaints, Claims, File a complaint), In person (Go to Avenida Paseo Colón 329, 5th floor, CABA, or the nearest ANSES office to the person's home), In writing (A person can send a postal mail to Paseo Colón 329, 5th floor, front, C.P.).
