The felt temperature slightly exceeded 33 degrees, with a similar forecast for the coming hours. From dawn, it was clear it would be a challenging day, with temperatures hovering around 25 degrees. As the hours passed, expectations were met: an intense heatwave with 35 degrees, dry air, and a warm air mass that enveloped the city, though a light breeze in the evening brought some relief. However, the National Meteorological Service (SMN) announced similar conditions for Friday, with temperatures ranging from 25 to 36 degrees, high humidity, and no chance of rain. According to Noticias Argentinas agency, the thermometer will begin to drop on Saturday, and this trend will intensify throughout the long weekend. By Monday, a national holiday for the Day of the Virgin, temperatures are projected to be between 18 and 26 degrees, according to SMN. Additionally, the agency reiterated that a yellow storm alert remains in effect for the provinces of Salta, Jujuy, Catamarca, La Rioja, San Juan, Mendoza, Tucumán, and Buenos Aires.
