Buenos Aires – The National Road Safety Agency (ANSV) suspended the license of a man driving with a blood alcohol level of 2.24 grams per liter on National Route 5. He attempted to justify himself by saying, "We didn't have a good night." According to the agency reported to the Argentine News Agency, the motorist was traveling from the city of Santa Rosa in La Pampa towards Buenos Aires when traffic inspectors requested him to stop his journey. The test revealed that the driver had a high blood alcohol level and did not meet the "zero tolerance" standard in force in the Buenos Aires Province, which is 2.24 grams. At that moment, he tried to justify himself:
"Look, I'll be honest with you, my partner and I didn't have a good night. I didn't drink beer before leaving."
However, the authorities retained his registration, and he will have to pay a fine close to $1,700,000.
