Last week, Federal Judge Ernesto Kreplak was present at the commission. He is in charge of the judicial case that traces the chain of responsibilities that led to the lethal fentanyl outbreak. During his presentation, he revealed that through a traceability study, it was confirmed that more than 154,000 adulterated vials were in circulation, and he also mentioned that the Argentine Integrated Health Information System (SISA) had withheld seven batches of vials for suspected contamination, two of which tested positive upon examination. "We have a duty to provide an answer for this event, for many reasons because what happened should not have happened," the magistrate stated.
