In Argentina, the investigation into the murder of a young student is ongoing. Security camera footage recorded the fall of 18-year-old Matilda López Sanzetenea from the second floor of a residence in the Almagro neighborhood of Buenos Aires. The incident occurred on Saturday, November 1st. An ambulance from the SAME emergency service arrived and transported the student, who was still alive, to the Argerich Hospital, where she passed away in the early hours of Monday from multiple skull traumas, according to a police report obtained by the Noticias Argentinas news agency. Authorities reported that a young man, also 18 years old and identified as Nahuel Castillo C., was at the scene. He is believed to be the victim's boyfriend and was subsequently arrested. Upon inspection, he was found to have "signs of injury on his back, similar to scratches". He has been charged with femicide and mistreatment.
