A man was seriously injured after being hit by a bus in the Caballito neighborhood of Buenos Aires. The incident took place on a Monday morning on Apolinario Figueroa street at 700, between San Martín and Nicolás Repetto avenues. According to reports, a bus from line 110 struck a pedestrian under circumstances still to be determined.
The pedestrian suffered multiple traumatic injuries as a result of the collision and was quickly attended to by SAME personnel, who transported him to Durand Hospital. Fortunately, it has been reported that the injuries are not life-threatening. The victim, according to authorities, is 53 years old.
After the incident, a complete traffic cut was established in the area and a special operation was deployed, involving the presence of Neighborhood Police Station 15B and SAME personnel.
