The body of a baby was found in a garbage container in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Belgrano. According to police sources, a man who was searching through the waste deposits discovered the corpse in a bag that he initially thought contained clothes. Upon opening the bag, he encountered the tragic scene.
Following the discovery, police officers from the 13A Neighborhood Police Station and medical personnel were dispatched to Avenida Cabildo at 2500, where they confirmed that the baby no longer showed vital signs, exhibited livor mortis and hypothermia. It was also observed that the infant had a crust in the area of the umbilical cord, indicating that it was a newborn.
The Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor's Office 51, headed by Prosecutor Olivieri, and the Homicide Division are in charge of the investigation into this terrible event. The community is shocked by the discovery, and both the authorities and the residents of the neighborhood hope to clarify what happened and seek justice for the deceased baby.
