On Thursday night, a 39-year-old man was injured by a gunshot in the left leg after being assaulted in the Boedo neighborhood of Buenos Aires. According to the police report, the victim was taken to Hospital Italiano in good health after being assisted at another medical center and transferred under police custody to Hospital Durand.

The National Prosecutor's Office in Criminal and Correctional Matters 15 took charge of the investigation and ordered the review of security cameras, taking statements, and other necessary measures. The complaint was lodged with the 5A Neighborhood Police Station, who responded to the alert call and confirmed that the victim's life was not in danger.

According to the account of the injured man, the events occurred around 2 in the morning while he was walking on Boedo Avenue, between Quito and Belgrano. At that moment, he was approached by two armed criminals who demanded money. The victim handed over $20,000 before attempting to flee, at which point he was shot in the left buttock.

The man managed to reach the hospital on his own, where his good health was confirmed after the attack. The investigation is ongoing to identify those responsible for the robbery and subsequent shooting, which left the victim with an injury to the left leg.
