This Friday, music lovers in Buenos Aires will enjoy the 16th edition of the Night of Record Stores, featuring discounts, exclusive launches, and live shows across various locations. An initiative by CAPIF, it honors the cultural importance of record stores.

The most anticipated event for music lovers is about to arrive. The 16th edition of Record Store Day will once again bring together various stores that will offer their catalogs, allowing music enthusiasts to complete collections and immerse themselves in musical culture. The celebration will not be limited only to the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, but record stores from all over the country will participate in this special day.

Participating stores will offer exclusive discounts, unique releases, and live performances for the delight of attendees. The record store circuit, present both in Buenos Aires and in different provinces of the country, will provide special offers on vinyl and CDs, as well as promotions in both physical and online stores. This will allow music fans to explore a wide variety of genres and artists, facilitating convenient shopping for each individual.

Diego Zapico, president of CAPIF, highlighted the importance of record stores as fundamental cultural spaces in the musical ecosystem, emphasizing their value as places where music is experienced with all the senses. The 2024 circuit will encompass multiple points in the City and various locations in provinces such as Buenos Aires, Rosario, Córdoba, Salta, Mendoza, among others.

Among the participating record stores are recognized establishments such as Zivals, Yenny - El Ateneo, La Cueva Musical, Buenos Aires Record Store, among others. Record Store Day represents a special event that connects artists with their audience in a unique and meaningful way.

On Friday, starting at midnight, this annual celebration will take place, sponsored by CAPIF and supported by the Government of the City of Buenos Aires.
