Buenos Aires, April 6 (NA) - An armed man boarded a Roca train formation at Temperley station, took a passenger hostage, and the Alejandro Korn, Ezeiza, and Bosques branches via Temperley were interrupted. Sources from Trenes Argentinos informed the Noticias Argentinas Agency that the incident occurred at 15:11 on train 3210, which was circulating on platform 2, where the individual refused to be identified by Federal Police personnel, barricaded himself in the last car, and threatened the victim. The federal agents and Bonaerense police officers surrounded the area, evacuated the users, and rescued the woman who remained detained. At 16:20, the aggressor, identified as Jorge Daniel Nicolini, 50, ceased his attitude, surrendered to the authorities and was detained, while the Ezeiza, Alejandro Korn, and Bosques branches via Temperley returned to normal operation. The authorities verified that the individual was carrying a grenade and a .22 caliber revolver, so the presence of experts from the Lanús and PFA Explosives Division was required.
