Buenos Aires, March 25 (NA) – Santiago Nahuel Martínez, 30, publicly presented himself as an entrepreneur, a River Plate fanatic, and a passionate traveler. He also worked as the face of various clothing and food brands, which gave him visibility before his television debut. According to Argentinos Noticias Agency, Martínez entered 'Love is Blind Argentina' with the goal of participating in the social experiment and finding the love of his life. 'There is no place and there will be no room in our space for those who exercise or justify any kind of violence. We stand in solidarity with the victim and reaffirm our repudiation of these situations,' the statement concluded. In response to these events, the media party immediately severed ties with the streaming show 'Qué Distintos Somos', they expressed in a statement on social media. During his participation, he expressed surprise upon hearing Emily Ceco in the initial stages of the program. In turn, Emily described him in a previous interview as a disorganized person, but attentive and willing to take care of the well-being of others. The relationship progressed quickly within the reality show, and the couple decided to get married three weeks after meeting. After his time on the show, they shared various moments of their lives on social media, where he showed everyday scenes and affectionate gestures of the couple. However, during the broadcast of the show, certain aspects of Martínez's personality were also exposed, which generated repercussions on social media, as users following the program pointed out attitudes and behaviors towards Emily that raised questions. Among the comments, episodes of anger and impulsive reactions were mentioned, which even led him to consider leaving the reality show at times. Finally, Martínez initially came out to respond and clarify the questions against him; although, he is currently condemned to 15 years in prison for gender-based violence and attempted homicide against Emily Ceco, whom he met on the show. On the other hand, the detainee was dismissed from the 'Millionaire's' streaming program, of which he is a fan: 'From River Play Digital we express our absolute repudiation of the events of public knowledge by Santiago Martínez.'
