Buenos Aires, March 23 (NA) – Hours ahead of the 50th anniversary of the last coup d'état in our country, one of the icons of national rock addressed his audience. Catriel Ciavarella, drummer of the band Divididos, took the stage wearing a t-shirt from the Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo association. According to the Argentine News Agency, images of the musician wearing the iconic white handkerchief on his chest during a show in Uruguay quickly went viral on social media. This tribute during the band's live performance aligns with the call to action by the band's leader, Ricardo Mollo, for the "Vigil for Identity." The event, organized by La Garganta Poderosa, will take place today starting at 4:00 PM in Plaza de Mayo. The vigil will serve as a prelude to the March 24 event-festival, which will bring together major figures from culture, music, and communication to advocate for Memory, Truth, and Justice fifty years after the coup.
