Buenos Aires, March 17 (NA) – San Lorenzo was a victim of the storm that hit the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires this Tuesday afternoon when a wall surrounding some basketball courts collapsed. According to the Argentine News Agency, the collapsed wall left the courts exposed and fortunately, there were no injuries of any kind. The courts, where youth teams of the 'Cyclone' usually train, which participates in the National Basketball League and has five local championships and two Leagues of the Americas, were empty at the time of the collapse. Luck was on the side of the San Lorenzo basketball players and the club, as the collapse of a wall under the stadium left no victims or affected persons. The incident occurred in the afternoon, when a brief but strong storm lingered over the Federal Capital and caused damage to the Pedro Bidegain stadium, located in the Flores neighborhood. In the space under one of the 'Nuevo Gasómetro' stands, where two basketball courts intended for the practice of youth teams of a major club in the discipline are located, a wall that separated the courts from the rest of the internal space of the stand collapsed. In any case, the damage was only economic: the courts were out of use at the time of the storm, so there were no victims to regret.
