The reality show 'Big Brother: Golden Generation' caused a stir after Carmiña Masi suggested she had a close relationship with Santiago del Moro. According to what was learned by the Noticias Argentinas Agency, Del Moro decided to publicly explain his relationship with the contestant and clarify how the contact between them was before her entry into the house.

The episode began during a conversation in the living room of the house between Carmiña and her colleague Danelik, who were talking about a comment the host had made on the air during one of the galas: 'Today Santiago said 'I love you Paraguay'. He said it to you,' Danelik commented. Masi's response caught the attention of the participants and then the viewers: 'Yes, but I think he says it because I have a friendship with him.'

After that phrase, the transmission was suddenly cut off, which increased speculation among the show's fans. Faced with the impact generated by the participant's statements, Santiago del Moro decided to give his version to avoid confusion and denied having intervened in the choice of Carmiña for the reality show.

'I was reviewing things that happened last night and Carmiña, the Paraguayan, said that I called her for the program, and that is not the case,' he explained. Del Moro also suggested that the contestant might be using that reference as part of her strategy in the game: 'Sure she uses it as a strategy, but I don't want it to play against her'.

He then detailed what was the only recent exchange he had with her before she entered the house: 'She wrote to me in December to ask me about Big Brother and I told her: 'I'll pass you on to casting'.'

The host also emphasized that he does not participate in the selection process of the participants: 'I never called anyone to be in Big Brother'.
