Buenos Aires, March 6 (NA) – Incidents occurred on Friday between the Buenos Aires City Police and victims of the collapse in the “Estación Buenos Aires” residential complex after some residents attempted to force their way into the buildings. Police sources informed the Argentine News Agency that officers were “working at the scene” when the unrest with the apartment residents took place. The only authorization granted by the prosecution for the premises is to shore up the area. Neighbors insist on their demand to enter their homes to retrieve more belongings, but authorities do not allow it. In an interview with the Argentine News Agency, Anahí, who lived in one of the ground-floor units, specified that she and her husband are staying at the Hotel de las Américas. The same neighbor confirmed that “many” people entered and that the march planned by the victims was suspended due to the conflict. She added: “They have a machine lifting earth and all the evidence there.” Vanina Biasi, present at the protest, stated that the executive director of Buenos Aires highlighted that the Fire Department “has already carried out a photographic and video survey of the site, and the material was delivered to the Prosecutor's Office.”
