Child Support Scandal: Footballer's Ex-Partner Takes Legal Action

Buenos Aires, March 3 (NA) – Former footballer Brian Sarmiento is facing a new controversy since entering the 'Big Brother' house: his ex-partner reported him for a debt in child support for their 10-year-old daughter. According to the Argentine News Agency, the footballer's ex-partner, Jazmín 'Tesi' Posa, requested to seize Sarmiento's salary, arguing that he has not been paying the child support for 22 months. Journalist Santiago Riva Roy told DDM (América TV) that the footballer's daughter's mother filed a complaint for non-payment of child support, signed by Dr. Solari. The scandal arose due to the low amount the footballer must pay to support his 10-year-old daughter, considering his professional past. The established support is 300 dollars monthly, but the accumulated debt amounts to 12,792,348 Argentine pesos. For this reason, the woman requested a precautionary measure to seize the footballist's income from the reality show. It was also revealed that Brian Sarmiento's official fee on 'Big Brother' is 1.5 million pesos per week, a figure different from what other contestants would earn. Finally, the journalist confirmed that the footballer's lawyer agreed that the first payment from the show would be used to settle the debt.
