Arrests Made in Connection with Violent Buenos Aires Robbery

Buenos Aires, Argentina – Three individuals have been arrested in connection with a series of armed robberies. The incident occurred on January 17 when two armed men approached a Land Rover with two occupants in the Martínez area. The criminals forced the victims into the back seats and embarked on a two-hour crime spree across several localities, including Martínez, Villa Adelina, Villa Ballester, and José León Suárez. During the ordeal, the assailants stole cash, documents, cell phones, and other personal belongings. They also forced one of the victims to make an electronic transfer and make credit card purchases at various stores. Throughout the journey, the victims were subjected to physical abuse, including punches and stab wounds from a pen. The victims were eventually abandoned in the Villa La Rana neighborhood, where they were assisted by neighbors and taken to a safe location. The following day, the vehicle was found with bloodstains inside. Ten days later, during early morning raids in José León Suárez and Boulogne, the two men who committed the crime and a woman who received the transferred money were arrested.
