Family, friends, and neighbors of Uriel Alejandro Giménez, the 12-year-old boy who was killed during a chase in Remedios de Escalada, are saying their goodbyes at a wake in Caseros, before giving their final farewell at the cemetery in Podestá. «For those who are asking, we will be holding a wake for Uriel in Caseros, on Fischetti street at 4600,» a relative of the teenager informed. The gathering will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., after which he will be transferred to the Podestá Cemetery. The incident occurred early Tuesday morning when police from Tres de Febrero attempted to identify the occupants of a Fiat Uno car, but the young men fled and began to repel the action with firearm shots. Thus, according to information confirmed to the Argentine News Agency, the agents began a pursuit, which concluded in the Puerta 8 Emergency Neighborhood. There, at least two armed men fled on foot, leaving the vehicle abandoned and a deceased teenager inside. The case is in the hands of the UFI No. 6, which ordered that the expert examinations be carried out by the National Gendarmerie, and several spent casings were seized from the vehicle.
