Buenos Aires to Host First ARTEFACTA Event

Buenos Aires will host the first ARTEFACTA event. The inaugural edition of ARTEFACTA will take place on June 29, 30, and July 1, 2026, at La Rural, running concurrently with the 6th edition of Electronics & Home Argentina. The latter exhibition brings together the country's leading companies in home appliances, technology, computing, mobile devices, and retail. The first edition of ARTEFACTA is organized by Grupo Eletrolar and Azul Play with the objective of fostering professional exchange and creating new opportunities for architects, interior designers, decorators, real estate developers, corporate buyers, and distributors. It will also incorporate the sector's strategic wholesale public, including retail chains, furniture stores, specialty shops, buying centers, and commercial operators directly linked to furniture and home equipment manufacturers. Over three days in the yellow pavilion of La Rural, ARTEFACTA will feature a program of talks with industry leaders, according to the Argentine News Agency. Additionally, brands and manufacturers will present their new products in furniture, mattresses, lighting, and home equipment in an environment specifically designed for professional business development. Carlos Clur, CEO of Grupo Eletrolar, organizer of major business fairs in Latin America, states that ARTEFACTA was conceived 'long-term with a vocation for regional leadership.' He also highlights 'the value of face-to-face encounters' with the purpose of allowing 'the protagonists of design and decoration to showcase their potential, meet, get inspired, and grow their businesses.' Juan Cruz Martín Grondona, General Director of Electronics & Home and Artefacta, affirms that the idea of holding both fairs together is a 'strategic opportunity for exhibitors and visitors, with the integration of highly complementary professional audiences and a solid call for the sector.'
