A resident in Buenos Aires lost everything after a flying firecracker set her home ablaze during Christmas festivities.
The incident occurred just after midnight on Thursday in the Mondongo neighborhood, on Calle 116 between numbers 67 and 68.
The fire destroyed the house, taking all clothing, shoes, wallets and approximately 700,000 Argentine pesos in savings.
The victim, who was staying at a neighbor's house at the time, suffered injuries.
Video footage shows a group of young people throwing fireworks in front of the house; security cameras captured one of them pointing the firecracker at the victim's window.
"I saw one of them pointing at my window before the incident," the victim said.
No suspects have been detained yet, but authorities expect to identify the perpetrators in the next few hours. The victim has demanded that those responsible pay for the damage.
