With Christmas just hours away, families are starting to gather, and festive songs are already playing. However, in 2025, there are many more holiday albums than just the classic ones. According to the Argentine News Agency (NA), one of the most recognized artists of the new generation, Sabrina Carpenter, released an EP in 2023 called "Fruitcake." In it, she reimagined her song "Nonsense" (retitling it "A Nonsense Christmas") and added new melodies like "Cindy Lou Who," "Santa Doesn't Know You Like I Do," and "White Xmas." Following a similar path, Justin Bieber also released his own Christmas album in 2011 titled "Under The Mistletoe," which features songs such as "Only Thing I Ever Get For Christmas," "The Christmas Song" with USHER, and "All I Want For Christmas Is You" with Mariah Carey. In 2015, Ariana Grande was another artist who released a Christmas EP called "Christmas & Chill," which included six songs: "Intro," "Wit It This Christmas," "December," "Not Just On Christmas," "True Love," and "Winter Things." Lastly, one of the most memorable pop holiday albums was "The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection" released by Taylor Swift herself in 2008, which included songs like "Last Christmas," "Christmases When You Were Mine," and "Christmas Must Be Something More." This way, there are many Christmas songs to celebrate with, without necessarily sticking to the classics by Mariah Carey or Michael Bublé, known for their major hits this time of year.
