A major fire broke out in Buenos Aires. The fire originated in the area known as Parque Ferroviario, located at Moldes and Céspedes, right in the heart of the Colegiales neighborhood. According to the Argentine News Agency (NA), the fire was concentrated in several train cars that were abandoned and out of service. Police forces from the City were deployed to secure the perimeter and assist in the operation. Authorities are investigating the causes of the flames in the abandoned railway formations. Although the affected material was national railway scrap metal, the proximity to the urban area required a rapid response. Firefighters from the City are on the scene to control the spread of the fire and achieve its complete extinguishment. Commune 13 of the City of Buenos Aires was the scene of an emergency operation due to a fire outbreak.
