Buenos Aires, Dec 9 (NA) – Natalia Oreiro shone once again, dazzling on the red carpet at the Martín Fierro de Cine 2025 gala, and expressed her deep gratitude for the recognition received for "La Mujer de la Fila," the film she stars in and that continues to move audiences.

In an exclusive interview with the Argentine News Agency, Oreiro, who not only won the award for Best Film Actress for "La Mujer de la Fila" but also received the Golden Martín Fierro for cinema, highlighted the public's reception of the film and the creative process behind its creation.

"We have our recognitions, and in my case as an actress, that in itself is something marvelous. It's the only way," she said.

Oreiro especially highlighted the encounter with the real women behind another of her productions: "It moves me to be with the entire team of 'La Mujer de la Fila,' with Andrea Casamento, who is the real protagonist, with the other women in the line, with the director, the producers, and the colleagues I will find inside."

Despite her career, she assures she still has a lot to do: "Yes, I have pending projects. Seeing how the directors were so excited and wanting to participate."

According to Oreiro, the project's strength lies in its message: "The film conveys how from a personal fact a collective idea can be transmitted."

Additionally, faithful to her humanistic view, she reflected on the role of art and the need for empathy: "We need to be reborn, precisely, to life. I am very grateful for that."

When asked about her wishes for the new year, she surprised with a broader answer than strictly artistic: "I hope to find a general emotional balance in the world, not just personal."

She also added: "I know it's difficult, that everything is very convulsed, but at least we have to move forward, because there will always be setbacks."

Regarding the situation in Argentina, she stated: "Let's try not to hurt others."

The actress also referred to the moment the country is going through: "As we are all living it, let's fight the battles we need for things to be well, but without hurting those who don't think like us."

When asked for an example of a character she would like to play, she did not hesitate: "I would love to play Juana Azurduy."

"Imagine, if at my age I have nothing pending, that's it, I'm finished."
