Buenos Aires, November 28 (NA) – The driver of a car that crashed into parked vehicles in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo barricaded himself inside his vehicle upon the arrival of television cameras, causing minutes of tension. After an alcohol test, it was confirmed that he had 1.5 g/L of alcohol in his blood.
The accident occurred this Friday morning at the intersection of Cabrera and Godoy Cruz streets, in the heart of Palermo, when a man said he made a bad maneuver, causing him to lose control and crash into the two parked vehicles.
According to information provided by police sources to the Noticias Argentinas agency, personnel from the 14A Neighborhood Police Station of the City Police attended the scene.
“The driver of the Ford Fiesta admitted that he made a bad maneuver that ended up causing him to hit a Renault Sandero and a Toyota Corolla that were parked,” they indicated.
The Northern Flagrancy Unit ordered that an alcohol and drug test be carried out on the spot, which was positive with 1.5 g/L of alcohol in the blood, twice the legal limit.
SAME treated the subject for minor contusions at the scene, but the curious thing is that with the arrival of television cameras, tense moments unfolded as he barricaded himself inside the vehicle.
In addition, a security perimeter was established while waiting for the owners of the damaged vehicles.
