Buenos Aires, November 27 (NA) – APTRA president Luis Ventura addressed the criticisms following the recent Martín Fierro Latino awards ceremony and commented on his long-standing conflict with Jorge Rial.
The journalist walked the red carpet at the Martín Fierro Cable awards, hosted by Pía Shaw and Barbie Simons, taking place tonight at the exclusive Golden Center, with a special broadcast on C5N.
"I brought a statuette in case of a tie," Ventura joked, stating that after the recent controversy, "he doesn't want anyone to leave upset."
"This is for the assholes who talked too much, let them come now and see what they have to say," he said from the event at the exclusive Golden Center.
"I see it as a lot of people trying to jump on the bandwagon. The content they lack for their shows, they try to generate with the Martín Fierro, which always sells for them," he added about the criticism of his event.
Regarding internal conflicts within APTRA itself, he admitted: "Maybe the error is mine."
At the same time, he expressed his support for the candidacy of Pilar Smith, another major critic of the awards, for the presidency of APTRA: "I think it's fabulous that she is running in the elections, because it's a way to validate what she says."
Additionally, he spoke about a possible reunion with Jorge Rial, with whom he has had a feud for years, at the event.
"It would be a good time for him to turn the page," he stated.
