Buenos Aires is preparing for a new edition of 'La Noche de los Museos,' a cultural event that invites visitors to explore over 300 public and private spaces with free entry. The event will take place from 7:00 PM on Saturday until 2:00 AM on Sunday. Among the offerings are a new installation by Marta Minujín, tours of the Teatro Colón, and special shows at the Planetarium.
A prime example of the wide range of possibilities will be the Centro Cultural Recoleta, located at Junín 1930, which will present at 7:00 PM the 'Torre de Pisa de Spaghettis,' the new installation by Marta Minujín. This work, nearly 20 meters high and covered in 14,000 packages of pasta, can be walked through on the inside.
At Pedro de Mendoza 2147, the prestigious Teatro Colón will be open until midnight to show behind the scenes, including dressing rooms, sets, and props from recent productions. There, visitors can learn about the work of the workshops and crafts that are part of the artistic complex.
At the Casa de la Cultura, located on Av. de Mayo 575, recently restored, there will be tours of the building and an immersive experience in the basement. Additionally, the City Symphonic Band will perform music from films like 'E.T.'
In the south of the city, the Usina del Arte will feature the artist Tadeo Jones with a live sculpture, while Lucas Espina and Poly Pérez will give a concert, with a possibility to attend a gastronomic patio open until 2:00 AM.
From 7:00 PM to 1:30 AM, visitors will be able to go up to the viewpoint of the Torre Monumental, also known as Torre de los Ingleses, at Av. de los Italianos 851. It will offer the show 'El circo de Campanita' at 6:00 PM and the 'Mural Fluo Kids' workshop between 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM, where children can draw and paint in the dark.
At the Centro Cultural 25 de Mayo (Av. Triunvirato 4444), robots that play soccer and interact with the public will be on display, along with proposals for 3D printing, gaming, and technology applied to sustainable transport, from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
At the Museo Casa Carlos Gardel (Jean Jaurès 735), the granddaughter of Ignacio Corsini will offer a special guided tour of the exhibition dedicated to the singer, Gardel's friend.
