A threat involving military-grade weapons was received via email at the Argentine Catholic University (UCA), and officers from the City Police's Bomb Disposal Squad carried out an operation that yielded negative results. According to information from the Argentine News agency, police personnel from the 1E Neighborhood Police Station headed to the establishment located at Alicia Moreau de Justo Avenue 1300, in the Puerto Madero neighborhood, on Friday morning, where they interviewed the security coordinator. The woman stated that on Thursday night, all branches received an email indicating that different people would arrive at the location with military-grade weapons. In this regard, the coordinator specified that several attacks were planned for the day, leading the police to proceed with an evacuation. Officers from the City Police's Bomb Disposal Squad conducted an emergency operation, and no explosives or military-grade weapons were found. Meanwhile, the university's branch in the province of Mendoza was evacuated and classes were suspended due to a similar threat.
