Ricardo Arjona Sets Record in Argentina

Guatemalan singer-songwriter Ricardo Arjona achieved an unprecedented milestone in Argentina by selling out tickets for over ten consecutive shows at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires, scheduled for May 2026, as part of his international tour «Lo que el Seco no dijo». Initially, dates were announced for May 1, 2, and 3, 2026, at the Movistar Arena. Due to high demand, an eleventh show was added for May 8, 2026. With eleven consecutive shows now sold out, a new date, May 10, 2026, has been added. This level of demand in Argentina is a response to a long-standing relationship with the Argentine audience: Arjona had previously sold out eight shows at the Movistar Arena in 2022. Tickets for those initial shows sold out in less than 70 minutes. The success was so significant that additional shows were added for May 7, 11, 12, 17, 18, 23, and 24, all with sold-out venues. In December 2023, he also concluded his «Blanco y Negro» tour with two sold-out stadiums in the country. The «Lo que el Seco no dijo» tour is presented as one of the most ambitious of his career, mobilizing both traditional followers and new audiences. For the artist, this confirms that his fan base is not only maintained but also growing, which is notable in a context where many artists are seeing stagnation or a decline in their appeal. Each Arjona show under this tour promises to be an experience that goes beyond a classic concert: it features top-tier stage production, a journey through his greatest hits along with compositions from the new album, and a setup designed to make an impact. Furthermore, the production is handled by Fénix Entertainment, adding scale and professionalism to the event.
