The scandal truly broke after images and messages linking the singer to an Argentine YouTuber on a night out leaked. It all began when Ángel de Brito shared a follower's message claiming to have seen Nicki with Mernuel, one of the most popular streamers, at a Buenos Aires nightclub: “A friend of mine saw her leave with Mernuel last night. They were together all night and left together,” the viral chat read. The encounter reportedly took place at Picheo, one of the most exclusive nightlife venues in the capital. The story gained more traction because days earlier, Nicki had made a surprise appearance on a stream by Yanina Latorre where Mernuel was also present, fueling suspicions of a new connection. From Spain, the Barcelona player decided to put an end to the speculation and spoke with journalist Javier de Hoyos, confirming the breakup but denying any infidelity: “It was not due to any infidelity.” Minutes later, cameras captured Mernuel and the Rosario native leaving the venue together. So far, neither has made a public statement, but fans have already ignited social media with theories, memes, and speculation about the new link.
