The subway concession company of Buenos Aires, Pza. Emova, has launched a new application aimed at keeping users informed about the service status. The app will provide real-time information about the schedules of the first and last train of the day, as well as relevant data about the underground public transport.
The operating hours of the different lines have been detailed by the company, with extended hours on Fridays on some routes. In addition, fares for using the subway and premetro have been announced, varying according to the number of trips taken, offering discounts from a certain number of monthly trips.
The Buenos Aires subway network, consisting of 6 lines and transporting more than 800,000 passengers daily through 90 stations, has a layout of approximately 65 kilometers including the premetro. All SUBE card users can benefit from automatic discounts of 20%, 30%, and 40% after exceeding a certain number of trips per month. However, if they do not receive the corresponding discounts, they can file complaints through the Citizen Attention System.
The new Pza. Emova app will allow users to customize their notifications, save favorite addresses, and access useful information such as safety rules, contact details, and procedures, with the aim of improving passenger experience and optimizing travel times on the Buenos Aires subway.
