8M Mobilization in Buenos Aires

In Buenos Aires, the mobilization on March 8 will concentrate tomorrow at 4 PM on Avenida de Mayo to march to Congress, while today the pre-event takes place in the framework of the 'Lesbian Visibility Day.'

A correspondent for ANRed from France reports that on March 5, 2025, the Prime Minister and Laurent Núñez (head of the police) prohibited the women's march on March 7 organized by the Assemblée Féministe Paris-Banlieues, marking the first time this march has been banned. For several years, the night of March 7 has witnessed a radical women's march in Paris that gathers several thousand people.

This initiative stemmed from the desire of the Assemblée féministe Paris-Banlieues and other collectives to organize as feminists to defend anti-LGBTQ, anti-colonialist, anti-validation, anti-abolitionist, and anti-racist slogans. The short film promoted by the groups Urgence Palestine and Samidoun was welcomed as an essential initiative by the organizing groups to increase the visibility of Palestinian women and gender minorities, seeking to give voice to their struggles and resistance.

The mobilization led by women and dissidents previews the 8M, marked by a mobilization in front of the concierge, an iconic place that recalls the French Revolution as it was first a palace and later a prison for monarchs. Thousands of people participated in the 'radical feminist night march' tonight in Paris in solidarity with Palestinian women, initially banned by police authorities but lifted just before the departure time after demands, receiving support from Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau.
