The Secretary of Tourism and Sports of the Nation, Daniel Scioli, expressed his confidence that, by working together with the private sector and the provinces, Argentina will achieve the place it deserves in the tourism arena. During his participation in Fitur in Madrid, Scioli highlighted the importance that the President of the Nation, Javier Milei, places on tourism as a strategic activity for the country's development, implementing policies such as Open Skies and deregulations in the private hotel sector.

Regarding the impact of Argentina's presence at Fitur, Scioli emphasized the good reception and the team's effort to promote the country's receptive tourism. After a period focused on strengthening internal tourism and the offerings of the provinces, Scioli mentioned a change in perception and anticipated a promising stage with investments and contributions from the private sector.

Scioli emphasized that Argentina is a safe destination, highlighting the differences in offerings and conditions that make price comparisons with other destinations irrelevant. Regarding sporting events, he mentioned efforts to bring Formula One to Argentina in 2027, pointing to Buenos Aires as an ideal venue due to its infrastructure.

Regarding winter tourism, Scioli mentioned the diversity of ski centers in Argentina and its potential to attract international tourists, emphasizing the improvement in air connectivity as a facilitator of receptive tourism.
