ARCA to release March tax revenue data

Buenos Aires, March 31 (NA) -- The Tax Collection and Customs Control Agency (ARCA) will release this Wednesday the data on tax revenues for the third month of the year. According to what Argentina News Agency learned, the latest revenue figure reached $16,231,830 million, with a year-on-year variation of 20.1%, although it fell 9.7% in real terms. This indicator brings together all the income that the State collects through national taxes, social security contributions, and customs duties. In this sense, ARCA explained that February's revenue was affected by the slowdown in imports, due to the high comparison base caused by the strong growth in imported volumes in the first months of 2025, and the reduction in withholdings for soy, wheat, and corn. 'Likewise, it was affected by the strong increase in the acceptance of current debt into payment plans, especially in VAT and Social Security, compared to the levels accepted in the previous year,' they detailed. This is the second consecutive drop and the third in five months: together with January, the first two months of the year became the second worst since 2018.
