Argentina's ADRs surge over 7%

Buenos Aires, March 31 (NA) – ADRs registered gains of over 7% this Tuesday, driven by Grupo Supervielle and Banco BBVA, as well as Banco Macro, which advanced 6.2%. The rise occurs amidst an improved global climate where major Wall Street indices are trading higher, sources in the sector confirmed to Noticias Argentinas news agency. Dollar-denominated titles are trading with gains of up to 0.7%, led by the Bonar 2029, in addition to the Bonar 2038, which rises 0.6%. Locally, the S&P Merval index advances 3.5%, to 2,964,469.570 points. The stocks that are rising the most are: Grupo Supervielle (+5.5%), Banco BBVA (+5.3%), and Central Puerto (+4.9%). Although the market received the Bonar 2028 bond auction results with optimism, this time it fell short. There were only offers for US$34 million, and all were accepted when US$100 million more could have been offered.
