Lumilagro Company from Buenos Aires Explains Financial Crisis After Social Media Scandal

The company Lumilagro from Buenos Aires sparked controversy after posting a controversial message on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), forcing its management to explain its financial situation. It all started when the company, from its official account, recommended buying Stanley brand thermoses. Following this, Lumilagro's account, which is run by its own owner, published a message that sparked a wave of criticism. The post accumulated numerous responses, but one of the most prominent, according to Instagram users, was from Claudio García, known as 'El Turco,' who ironically wrote: 'Look, Adorni got a new job as a Community Manager.' As the hours went by, the company's owner deleted the tweet and pinned a new message to their X account, explaining the context the company is going through, as Noticias Argentinas was able to find out. 'Any reconversion is painful, but no company sets the rules of the game,' the firm remarked. 'If, on the contrary, we decided not to adapt, we would end up losing to the competition and closing,' the firm added. 'This will allow us to generate more jobs again. With the opening of our own stores, the manufacturing of some of our products, and the growth of our commercial, design, and engineering sectors, we trust that we will eventually not only be able to give Argentines the best product at the best price, but we will also generate more employment, perhaps even more than we had before,' the firm added. Noticias Agency noted: 'All departures were by mutual agreement to adapt, survive, and grow again. We have not fired a single person.'
