Argentina's 'Back to Work' Program to Conclude in April

Buenos Aires, March 17 (NA) – The Ministry of Human Capital informed that the 'Back to Work' program will conclude next month and announced that April 9 will be the last day beneficiaries 'will receive the payment of the last installment.' Likewise, the portfolio of Sandra Pettovello noted that people enrolled in the program were notified by email and through the Mi Argentina app: 'Those who express an interest in training will be able to access vouchers for job training,' they added. As of March this year, 'Back to Work' had reached over 900,000 people; starting in May, these social plans will be converted into certified job training programs, and direct payments will be the ones that will end. This program aimed to 'develop and consolidate a level of socio-labor skills' in people to help them achieve a 'real initial employability level' and improve their job insertion opportunities. This benefit was carried out through participation in job training activities, training practices in work environments, and assistance in the development of individual or associative productive ventures.
