The company 'El Nuevo Halcón', which operated line 148, has shut its doors following an economic crisis and a conflict with its workers. According to the Argentine News Agency, the company's management announced the definitive closure and proceeded with the sale of the terminal in Quilmes to finance the payment of its debt to its staff. The company had a debt of approximately 500 employees, which included the half-year bonus for December and the salaries for January and February. The service connecting Plaza Constitución with San Francisco Solano, and passing through different areas of the Southern Conurbano such as Quilmes and Florencio Varela, would be distributed among several companies: the routes to San Francisco Solano would pass to the orbit of San Vicente, a firm linked to the DOTA Group. In turn, the services to Florencio Varela would be under the management of Expreso Quilmes (line 98), whose ownership is shared equally by DOTA and SAES (administrator of Line 85).
